NEXT FAIR – MEET SOME NEW STALLHOLDERS – ON SUNDAY 22 May 2016 – 9.15 START FOR MEMBERS (INCLUDING ANYONE WHO JOINS ON THE SPOT).
We are expanding a little and, weather permitting, we will have stalls ‘from page after page’ of Box Hill with material especially selected for members on the area leading in to the entrance point.
Last fair, shoppers were delighted with a great selection of material at Nigel Shipley‘s stall – Nigel will be back. Joe Boyar has not been at our fairs for a couple of years, and he is also back specialising in sporting ephemera. Did you see Michael Shields’ stall last time? After his first fair, Michael will be back with an even better understanding of what shoppers are after. Roger Geron has developed some fans with his range of material – he’s back too. Eve Pryor was missing last time but is coming with a huge range of postcards. Ken Piesse was out of action but is fit again and you all know his wide collection of cricket and sporting material.
Our treasurer Ed Jewell has a great collection – but he is doing a clear out – and taking 2 or 3 stalls.
Don’t forget the regular stallholders who provide the backbone of the fair – Ian Atkinson, Ken Ash, Mark Burgess, John Dean, David Devine, Francis Doherty, Gerry Dorset, The Milnes, Ray Nichols, Maree and Peter Nieuwenhuizen, Ken Piesse, Greg Plancke The Rutherfords, Ian Stillwell, Ian Wenham. Philip Moorehouse will be there too offering to help you to get your collection organised.

Come to our next fair on 20 November 2016 at the Parkview Room, Camberwell Civic Centre, Vic. 10-3. You will meet about 35 stallholders. I’ll let stallholders know beforehand of your interest – just introduce yourself. Are you going to the Rare Books Fair at Melbourne Uni today – another good way of adding to your collection.
