In Australia in the late 1960s, the rate of migrant return exceeded the rate of emigration, compelling the government to consider the needs and concerns of new and older migrants. Dr Alexandra Dellios will be discussing her investigations into the Library’s records of the Greek Welfare Society and key member, Spiro Moraitis. Dr Alexandra Dellios is cultural historian in the Centre for Heritage and Museum Studies and is a National Library of Australia Fellow.
