On 25 August, 8pm, join Art Deco & Modernism Society President Robin Grow in a dazzling trip through advertising from the Deco era. See how colour, typography, poster design, magazines, building signage, and packaging all contributed to the selling of goods and services – from razor blades to Rio cruises!
Robin will be joined by Frank de Pinna, a legend in the world of advertising. Hear Frank regale us with stories of advertising agencies (think Mad Men in Melbourne), his jingles, the early days of television (with Grahame Kennedy and Bert Newton), and much, much more.
