These pages are from a remarkable calendar devoted to German war crimes, each month recording its own tragedy. The manufacture was simple with the calendar strung up to the wall or door through two holes. It may have been English as there is reference to a calendar like this being amongst war material arriving from London. The April and August atrocities were: the deportation of men and women from Lille in 1916 for forced labour and the destruction of the Library of the Catholic University in Belgium in 1914.
First valued at $200 then after sleeping on it, Rick Milne advised $500, maybe $1,000, possibly much more.
