Paul Fletcher, State Library of Victoria’s 2023 Marion Orme Page Regional Fellowship holder in association with Regional Arts Victoria, has been researching State Library ‘s Barker & Co “Cakoes” Decorative Patty Pan collection, a fascinating treasure trove of everyday cultural history, inventions, industry and art. Patty Pans in this context refer to paper wrappers that little cupcakes can be baked and presented in.Paul is interested to hear from anyone who may have any recollections of anyone working at Barkers & Co Printing, bought some of their products, or have an interest in this subject matter.
