Can you help a footy fan?
Enjoying Aussie Rules – The Glory Years. Like ESA member Francis, I am a Saints tragic – I lived in Moorabbin aged 8 when Saints moved there.
As a history tragic I’m trying to track down a copy of photo I saw in the 1980s at a Macca’s in Geelong. The photograph was from Round 17: August 22, 1914 – Geelong v St Kilda at Corio Oval – Saints are wearing Saints jumper with Aussie flag sewn on to counter the criticisms of wearing unpatriotic German colours.
If you can assist, let us know via the comment box below and we will pass the information on to Brett.

As You saw this at a Macca’s in Geelong, perhaps Geelong F.C. or Mac Donald’s has a copy in their respective archives.
