Collectors of ice cream memorabilia, can you help me. I’m trying to work out exactly when Streets first brought out the Splice. They say it was in the ’50s, but the trademark wasn’t registered until 1961. I also think the first version was a Lime Splice, not a Pine Lime Splice. If anyone has any old advertising or packaging that could help shed light on this I’d be most grateful.

Jan we have asked for advice on our facebook page and this information was provided
Here’s a 1960s advert for the original Streets Lime Splice. 🙂 I personally think they messed it up when they changed it to Pine Lime. It lost the “tanginess” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kfAWumsDg-g
