7-9 July 2022: The Australian & New Zealand Antiquarian Booksellers Association (ANZAAB) is very excited to announce the return of the Melbourne Rare Book Fair after a two-year break. (The photograph below shows that it was enjoyed by ESA members Michael A and Wal K last time.)
Now in its 50th year the Melbourne Rare Book Fair celebrates the book, the printed word and the visual in all its beauty.
The Fair will be held Thursday 7th to Saturday 9th July returning to its home for the past 8 years – Wilson Hall, the University of Melbourne.
After two years of strict border closures, book collectors and booksellers can travel again and the ANZAAB organisers hope that many national and overseas visitors will make use of the eased restrictions.
For three days, book lovers can browse the Fair, meet and talk to the best of Australia’s rare and antiquarian book dealers and add to their collections.
Whether you are looking for First Editions, rare texts, antiquarian prints and maps, or modern collectible books you are sure to find something that you will fall in love with.
As in previous years, one lucky visitor will win the ANZAAB Door Prize – a voucher for $500 to spend with an ANZAAB dealer of their choice.
If you love books, this is an event not to miss. We hope you can join us.

As an avid collector of Bookmarks, I would like to enquire who of your members may have discarded bookmarks to sell.
