Old SF and fantasy books and magazines

15 September 6pm: all comers are welcome to here Bruce Gillespie talk on Australian science fiction at the next Book SPEAKER: Bruce Gillespie will speak on his involvement with Australian science fiction fandom. Bruce began publishing SF Commentary in 1969. He was a founding member of ANZAPA in 1968, and is currently the Official Editor. He has won Ditmar and Chandler awards for his writing and in 1999 was Fan Guest of Honour at Aussiecon 3. Additionally, Bruce was a member of the publishing firm, Norstrilia Press, which operated from 1975 to 1985. He will speak about fanzines and talk generally about the interest in collecting old SF and fantasy books and magazines.
