Here are charts that:
- promote games/quizzes:
- promote the personalities hosting programmes:
- link products and musicians in a way that would never be possible now, without Billy Thorpe, Leo Sayer and Paul Simon being paid to acknowledge his enthusiasm for chiko rolls, tim tams and Northern Electronics;
- charts often ended with a stop press or hot off the presses type comment to show how up to date they were – but this one seems to be genuine when 3XY put Elvis on the verso when he died on 16 August 1977.
