A FAMILY IS DOING THE RIGHT THING, THEY WANT TO GIVE AWAY A COLLECTION MADE OVER MANY YEARS AND MANY MILES. Let us know via the comments if you can assist.
The ESA got an email – My father collected milk cartons over many years. He recently passed away and we don’t know what to do with the collection. There are hundreds of milk cartons, mostly 1 litre size, from Victoria, other parts of Australia and a few from overseas.
I don’t know why Dad got interested in milk cartons, sorry, but he tended to collect a whole range of things!
The cartons are all boxed up and in storage so I don’t know exactly what they are. There would be things like Big M in there plus ordinary milk cartons (I don’t think there would be multiples of identical cartons). He travelled a lot around Victoria for work and would collect cartons labelled from various dairies and was always happy to show us small variations in what was printed on them. Some of the family would also give him interesting cartons from their travels.
Do you know of anyone who might be interested in them? We’re keen to pass them on so that they don’t end up in landfill.
I live in Heidelberg Victoria
