KANGAROO, LYREBIRD, KOALA, PLATYPUS, EMU, ECHIDNA…many of us have had the opportunity to see some terrific ephemera from Michael A. We have seen his colonial Christmas cards.
At the last Show & tell we saw a beautiful album of male lyrebird ephemera. This has inspired some of those present to make their own hunts for this shy bird. Here are some found on our friend the www.

Superb Lyrebird Wallpaper is designed by Catherine Martin for Mokum. The Superb Lyrebird is combined with kangaroo paw flowers to create an abstracted, yet formalised pattern that draws on Australia’s coat of arms for inspiration. Superb Lyrebird is printed with a pearlescent finish.
The lyrebird seems to be a favourite for wallpaper, very decorative – Wild Animal Wallpaper’s Lyre Birds Collection.

We have had a pretty poor result from the search – maybe look for more at the fair on 22 May 2016.
