More info from the outside world about north eastern Victoria artist

We ran a story about Marcus O’Donnell’s paintings reproduced on greeting cards in the 1960s.

I vaguely remember visiting Marcus in his ‘humpy’ in the mountains with my father who either owned the land he lived on or was acting as Marcus’ solicitor. I can check that. I have one of his paintings and my father has a set of 12 small paintings which I always assumed were originals but I will have to check that too! I’ve grown up with this pictures and love them.
I googled Marcus this morning as I was looking at his painting, wondering what info was available on him – seems not much!
